Project Goals: Design a patio and monument that honors Dr.Jose Rizal who helped gain the Philippines their national independence. Working with prominent memebers of the Filipino community we designed a patio with the symbolism and colors of the Philippines flag. At the center of the patio sits a large boulder engraved with a photo and dedication to Dr.Jose Rizal. Local politicians, community leaders and media all gathered to the opening and renaming of the new Dr.Jose Rizal park.
